037 — Björk Collection I / 5th Year-End Show

A selection of songs highlighting a small portion of Björk's impressive career, spanning many musical styles including pop, classical, jazz, dance, electronic, avant-garde, and experimental.

Björk, for me, is an exemplary representation of a true artist and innovator. She has always expressed herself, continuously challenging perspectives, both humbly and without artifice.
I have deep regard for these songs, which have given me hope -- time and time again -- getting me through rough weather over the years. This collection is intimate and powerfully evocative -- if even only to absorb the sound fully, I hope it will resonate with or be in some measure, transformative for the listener.

This marks the end of the program's 5th year continuance. Though not as active in 2015 as I'd hoped, there's some compelling guests and shows lined up for 2016. Sincere thanks for all who have supported over the years. Looking forward.....
